Manchester Phone Repairs (“we”) is the Greater Manchester repair service operated by The Mobile People, Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre, Rochdale OL16 1EA. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

When you book a repair, request a quote or contact us, we collect your name, contact details (phone, WhatsApp, email), collection address where applicable, and details of your device and fault. If you message us on WhatsApp, your message is processed by WhatsApp under their own privacy terms.

How we use it

We use your information solely to provide the repair service: arranging collection and return, sending quotes and booking confirmations, warranty records, and responding to enquiries. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party marketing.

Your device and data

Repairs such as screens, batteries and charging ports do not require access to the data on your device. We recommend backing up before any repair. Where a repair requires the device to be unlocked for testing, we only ask for what is needed and never access personal files.

Retention

Repair and warranty records are kept for the duration of your 12-month warranty plus a reasonable period for accounting purposes, after which they are deleted.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only the cookies needed for it to function and basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand visits. We do not run advertising trackers.

Your rights
